Java single origin coffee comes from Indonesia, a top global coffee producer often in the top five. Coffee cultivation in the region began around 1696 during colonial times, benefiting from ideal growing conditions.
We source our coffee from the Lake Toba area, the world’s largest volcanic lake. The beans undergo the Giling Basah processing method, resulting in a robust, full-bodied brew with a spicy aroma and subtle tobacco notes. Our beans are from the Catimor and Typica varieties.
